Description:

• Objective: Recreate celebrations from Spanish Speaking countries.

• Tasks:

  • Prepare a celebration to do in class with the following structure:

    • Presentation about the celebration. Google slides or Canva.

    • One or two activities to do in class. Check the ideas below.

    • Practice and make sure that your celebration presentation fits in a 20-minute block.

  • During other groups presentations, in a scratch piece of paper, answer the following questions:

    • During the presentation:

      • How did the presenters engage the audience?

      • What is one fact that you learned, and thought was interesting?

    • After the activities:

      • How well did the presenters connect the presentation to their activities?

    • After their final presentation:

      • Overall, what was the strongest aspect of their presentation?

  • What is the celebration (presentation)

  • Class cookbook

  • Create a story about the theme.

  • Parade / Video

  • Decorations

  • Coloring book

  • Paper craft / origami

  • Popular music and songs

Final Product:

• Submission Format: Presentation and activities in class about the celebrations. Team paper with questions.
